Jackfruit grows in home gardens all over Sri Lanka and is eaten young as a vegetable and ripe as a fruit. Ripe jackfruit bulbs make one of the best fruit crisps. Vacuum frying cooks them at a much lower temperature than ordinary frying, so the chips keep the fruit’s golden color and sweet flavor, absorb less oil and stay crunchy.

Quality documents

Each lot comes with a certificate of analysis covering moisture, oil content, free fatty acids, peroxide value and microbiology, plus an ingredient and allergen statement. Vacuum frying keeps acrylamide low, and we can test for it on request.

Who buys it

Snack and dried fruit brands, health food and Asian grocery importers, trail-mix producers and private label retailers. Chips are light and bulky, so they ship well in a shared container with other Sri Lankan goods through our consolidation service.

Private label

Retail packs can carry your brand. Send us your artwork, pack size and labelling requirements for your market, and we confirm packing options, minimum order and lead time with the quote. You remain responsible for the label claims made in your market.

Packing and shipping

Orders are packed to your instruction and shipped by sea in a full or shared container, or by air for samples and small lots, quoted FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF to your port. Products from several Sri Lankan suppliers can share one container through our consolidation service.
