Natural Rubber (TSR20): Split out 2026-07-16 from the old combined RSS3/TSR20 band. SICOM is an Asia benchmark rather than an SL FOB quote, but tracks it closely. Indicative - confirm with a supplier. Band moved 2026-10-12 from 2.15-2.40 to 2.25-2.55: the drift check flagged the 2026M09 benchmark (2.41) above the old band. What moves Ceylon commodity prices

Tea

Follows the weekly Colombo Tea Auction and the elevation and grade of the leaf. High-grown and single-estate lots sit well above bulk averages.

Cinnamon

True cinnamon, not cassia. Priced by grade (Alba and C5 quills at the top), crop size and the strength of organic and EU demand.

Coconut

Oil and desiccated coconut follow nut supply and global vegetable-oil markets. Certified-organic and retail-pack lots trade higher.

Rubber

RSS and TSR grades move with regional ANRPC supply and tyre demand. Landed cost also depends on freight and duties: try our freight calculator.

How much does Ceylon cinnamon cost per kg?

From about $12.50 per kg for quillings and chips up to $36.00 per kg for Alba quills, FOB Colombo. What is the FOB export price of Ceylon black tea?

Bulk Ceylon black tea runs roughly $3.50 to $7.25 per kg FOB Colombo across orthodox leaf, broken and CTC grades, following the weekly Colombo Tea Auction. Specialty teas such as Silver Tips and Golden Tips trade far higher.

Why are prices shown as ranges, not exact figures?

B2B export prices vary by grade, order quantity, packing, certification and the week’s market. A single number would mislead you, so we show the honest range for each grade and then quote you a firm price for your exact order.

How do I get a firm, current price?

Post a sourcing request with the product, grade, quantity and destination. Our trade desk in Colombo prices it with the mills and exporters we work with and sends you a firm FOB or CIF quote within 1 business day. Free, no obligation.

How often are these prices updated?

Market bands are reviewed weekly against public benchmarks (last change 12 out 2026), including the World Bank Commodity “Pink Sheet” for tea, coconut oil and rubber. Grade prices come from our own product listings and update when those do.

Market band sources: World Bank Commodity "Pink Sheet" · Selina Wamucii market prices · Tridge price intelligence · ANRPC (natural rubber). Grade prices are from our own product listings (September 2026). Reference ranges for guidance; a firm price comes with our written quote.
