Description

Fine-mesh coconut-shell powdered activated carbon for taste-and-odour control, decolourisation, and batch dosing in drinking-water, wastewater, and food & beverage processing. High adsorption capacity with fast kinetics; mesh fineness and methylene-blue / iodine values supplied to specification.

Food-grade options and Certificate of Analysis available per batch.

How PAC is used

Powdered carbon is dosed straight into water or a liquid as a slurry, left in contact, then removed by settling or filtration. It suits seasonal or batch problems, such as an algae taste and odour event, where a fixed granular filter bed is not needed. Coconut shell carbon has a high share of fine pores, which works well on small molecules.
