Sri Lanka has a long woodworking tradition and a ready supply of rubberwood, the timber from rubber trees felled when estates replant. Workshops near Colombo and in the hill country turn, cut and paint that wood into toys for export, from animal figures and pull-along toys to puzzles and stacking sets. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand.

Safety testing

Toys sold in the US must meet ASTM F963 and CPSIA rules, with a Children’s Product Certificate, and toys sold in the EU need EN 71 testing and CE marking. We arrange testing through an accredited lab for each order and share the reports; the importer of record remains responsible for the certificate in its market. Small parts and finishes are checked against the age grade you choose.

Private label

Retail packs can carry your brand. Send us your artwork, pack size and labeling requirements for your market, and we confirm packing options, minimum order and lead time with the quote. You remain responsible for the label claims made in your market.

Packing and shipping

Orders are packed to your instruction and shipped by sea in a full or shared container, or by air for samples and small lots, quoted FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF to your port. Products from several Sri Lankan suppliers can share one container through our consolidation service.
