Description
Key attributes
Sri Lanka exports mud crab and blue swimmer crab from its lagoons and coast, and spiny lobster from its reefs, to markets across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Live product flies chilled in ventilated boxes; frozen product ships whole or as meat and tails.
Live and wild-caught seafood has extra rules. Sri Lanka sets minimum sizes, bans the export of egg-carrying females, and closes some fisheries for part of the year. Each shipment needs a health certificate, and live product needs your import permit. We check the rules for your species and shipping date before we quote, and agree dead-on-arrival terms for live orders.
