Description
Key attributes
Coconut shell charcoal is coconut shell carbonised in kilns or pits. It is the feedstock that activated carbon plants buy, and it is also used for briquettes and as an industrial fuel. Sri Lanka produces it in volume as a by-product of its coconut industry.
This is raw charcoal, not activated carbon. Activated carbon is a further processed product with a much higher price. If you need granular, powdered or gold-recovery grades, see our activated carbon range.
