Description
Key attributes
Milled natural graphite from Sri Lankan vein graphite, supplied as powder or flake. Buyers use it in lubricants, foundry and refractory products, pencils, coatings, batteries and conductive materials.
What to include in your request
- Fixed carbon percentage
- Mesh or particle size (D50 if you specify it)
- Moisture, ash and volatile matter limits
- Packing, quantity per shipment and destination port
Price depends mainly on carbon content and fineness. Each lot can be tested by an independent laboratory before shipment.
How to get a price: tell us the quantity, your specification and your destination port. We quote FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF, with lead time and minimum order, and arrange samples before an order.
Why vein graphite
Sri Lanka is known for vein graphite, also called lump or crystalline vein graphite. It forms in veins rather than being spread through rock, so it can be mined at high natural purity. It is valued where good electrical and thermal conductivity is needed.
Powder or flake
- Flake: larger particles, used in refractories, foundry work and expanded graphite
- Powder: milled fine, used in lubricants, coatings, pencils, carbon brushes and battery or conductive blends
Samples
Samples are available before an order, so you can test the material in your own process.
