Rules for canned foods

Young jackfruit in brine is a low-acid canned food, so it is tightly regulated. For the US, the canning plant must be registered with the FDA and file its process for each product under 21 CFR 113 before the first shipment. The EU and other markets have their own rules for heat treatment, labelling and contaminants such as tin. We confirm the plant’s registrations and the documents for your market with the quote.

Each lot comes with a certificate of analysis, including drained weight and commercial sterility, plus an ingredient and allergen statement.
