Why We Exist

Sri Lanka’s Export Development Board (EDB) has thousands of registered exporters across every major industry: tea, textiles, rubber, coconut, seafood, and handicrafts. The register is comprehensive, but it’s a register, not a marketplace.

There’s been no Sri Lanka-dedicated marketplace where buyers can actually compare pricing, MOQs, and certifications side-by-side, and place orders. The EDB register answered who exports from Sri Lanka. SriLankaExport.com answers how to buy from them. We built a dedicated B2B marketplace where verified Sri Lankan exporters list their products with real bulk pricing, minimum order quantities, certification documents, and direct contact access, so buyers can evaluate, compare, and procure without intermediaries.

SriLankaExport.com is the trade desk of Harker International (Private) Limited, a Sri Lankan trading company. We source goods from Sri Lanka for overseas buyers, and we take Sri Lankan producers to buyers abroad.

There are two ways to buy from us, and we never apply both to the same goods:

• We sell to you. We buy from the producer on our own account and sell to you. Our margin sits inside the price we quote, the same way it does with any trading company.
• We work for you. You buy direct from the producer, and we check, negotiate and inspect for you for a monthly fee. We take nothing from the goods.

Independent & Private. Not a Government Site

SriLankaExport.com is an independent private B2B marketplace owned and operated by Harker International (Pvt) Ltd (Registration No. PV 00338032), based in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Harker International is a holding company whose sister brands include TrueNatura (organic coconut), Hike Lanka (tourism), Shimmer Lane (cosmetics, planned), and BrandShyp (web design and digital marketing).

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, partnered with, or operated by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), the Government of Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Industries, or any other government authority.

Where this site mentions EDB registration or EDB listing, we refer only to a vendor’s own registration or listing with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board, where applicable. Such registration or listing is voluntary under EDB’s current policy (the previous mandatory Registration of Exporters scheme was revoked by Gazette No. 2118/60 dated April 11, 2019). It is not issued by SriLankaExport.com and does not mean that EDB or the Government of Sri Lanka endorses this platform, the vendor, or the vendor’s products.

What “SLE-Verified Supplier” Means on This Marketplace

The SLE-Verified Supplier badge is the result of an internal marketplace review of vendor-submitted information performed by our team during onboarding. It is not a government certification, EDB endorsement, customs clearance, or guarantee of product quality. Review may include:

• Business Registration, vendor-submitted business registration document
• EDB Registration or Directory Listing, Where Applicable, vendor-reported only; we do not verify against EDB records, and EDB registration is now voluntary (Gazette 2118/60, 2019)
• Tax / Customs References, where vendor authorization or public verification is available
• Vendor-Submitted Certificate Copies, reviewed for presence and scope; certificate validity should be verified with the issuing body or importer of record before shipment
• Bank Account & Product Catalog Completeness, required for marketplace transactability

Verification may be revoked or suspended if information is inaccurate, expired, disputed, unverifiable, or misleading. Buyers should independently verify final documents with the issuing authority, customs broker, importer of record, or destination-country regulator before relying on them.
