  • SpecificationTwo options, please quote both. 1) Whole black pepper, garbled, bulk density 550 g/L minimum. 2) Ground black pepper No. 1 (state your mesh size). Quote per kg FOB Colombo for 200 kg of each, and your price per kg from 1 MT. Send your own specification for each: moisture, light berries, foreign matter, volatile oil, piperine, total ash, microbiology (total plate count, yeasts and molds, E. coli, Salmonella), aflatoxins and ochratoxin A, and whether the pepper is steam treated, irradiated or fumigated (and with what). State your lead time and whether you can send a 100 g sample of each within 2 working days.
  • Packing25 kg food-grade bags (state the bag material), each labelled with the product, lot number and Product of Sri Lanka
  • CertificatesState any food safety certification you hold (for example ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 or HACCP)
