Leaf rolled into tight pellets that unfurl in the cup. The rolling protects the leaf, so it keeps its character in storage and shipping better than most green grades.

How to buy: order a 60 g sample online to judge the grade in your own hands. For bulk, request a quote with your grade, quantity and destination; we confirm a firm price, packing, lead time and validity in writing.

Using gunpowder green tea

Gunpowder is a common base for mint tea blends and is widely drunk in North and West Africa and the Middle East. Tighter, smaller pellets are usually valued higher than loose, open ones. The leaf brews a strong green cup and can be steeped more than once.

What to tell us for a quote
