Apparel is Sri Lanka’s largest manufactured export, and its factories are known for making technical garments to tight specifications for global brands. Medical scrubs sit well within that skill set: simple patterns, demanding fabrics and consistent sizing across thousands of pieces. We place private label scrub orders with Sri Lankan apparel makers and manage them through to shipment.

Fabrics

Four-way stretch blends of polyester, rayon and spandex are the current standard for comfort; poly-cotton twill is the hard-wearing budget option; cotton suits buyers who want natural fibre. Tell us the fabric weight and finish you want, or send a reference garment.

What scrubs are, and are not

Everyday scrubs are workwear, not medical devices or protective equipment. We do not make claims that they are antimicrobial, fluid-resistant or protective: in the US those claims fall under EPA and FDA rules, and in the EU under the personal protective equipment regulation. If you need certified surgical gowns or fluid-resistant garments, ask us separately.

Labelling

Garments carry fibre content, country of origin and care labels in the form your market requires, such as the US FTC textile rules or EU Regulation 1007/2011, with your brand label.

Who buys it

Scrubs brands, uniform distributors, hospital and clinic suppliers, and online healthcare apparel stores. Minimum orders are set per style and color and confirmed with the quote.

Private label

Retail packs can carry your brand. Send us your artwork, pack size and labelling requirements for your market, and we confirm packing options, minimum order and lead time with the quote. You remain responsible for the label claims made in your market.

Packing and shipping

Orders are packed to your instruction and shipped by sea in a full or shared container, or by air for samples and small lots, quoted FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF to your port. Products from several Sri Lankan suppliers can share one container through our consolidation service.
