Ceylon black tea, single origin, grown in Sri Lanka and sold in bulk to tea packers, blenders, food service and distributors.
Three formats are available:
- Loose-Leaf Tea: for blending, retail packing or brewing.
- Tea Bag (Bulk): pre-packed tea bags for food service or retail.
- Tea Dust: for tea bag blends and instant tea products.
Packing varies by grade. Tea is packed in bags whose net weight depends on the leaf size: about 25 to 28 kg for OPA, 32 to 40 kg for FBOP and 50 to 55 kg for BOPF. Because the bag count per lot changes with the grade, lots are sold by net weight, and the packing for your grade is confirmed in writing with the quote:
