Elephants eat large amounts of grass and leaves and pass much of the fiber undigested. In Sri Lanka, small paper mills collect the dung, wash and boil the fiber clean, mix it with recycled paper pulp and form it by hand into sheets. The result is an odorless, textured paper with visible fiber flecks, sold as a gift and stationery line that tells a story about living alongside elephants.

Orders are packed to your instruction and shipped by sea in a full or shared container, or by air for samples and small lots, quoted FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF to your port. Products from several Sri Lankan suppliers can share one container through our consolidation service.
