Description

A senior engineer who designs, builds and reviews, and can lead junior developers on your project.

Typical work

  • Architecture and code review
  • Building and owning features end to end
  • Cloud, APIs and integrations
  • Mentoring a small team

How it works

  • Tell us the role, the skills, the hours and the time zone you need covered.
  • We recruit in Sri Lanka and send you a shortlist. You interview and choose.
  • The person is employed by us in Sri Lanka: salary, EPF and ETF, equipment and supervision are ours. You get one hourly invoice.
  • Minimum 80 hours per month per person. Full time is about 173 hours.

How to get a rate: send the role, seniority, hours per month and start date. The range above is indicative, from published Sri Lankan market rates. We confirm a firm hourly rate with the shortlist.

When to hire a senior

A senior fits when you need someone to make design decisions, not only write code. Examples are a new product build, a legacy system that needs a clear plan, or a small team that needs review and guidance.

What to include in your brief

  • Languages, frameworks and cloud platform
  • Overlap hours with your team
  • Tools you use for code, tickets and chat

Buying questions

Which documents come with the shipment?

Every export shipment carries a certificate of origin. Ask the desk which other certificates your country requires.

Can I check quality before a bulk order?

Yes. Start with a sample or trial lot. We can also arrange a pre-shipment inspection or an independent lab test for any order.

How do I pay?

You agree payment terms directly with the exporter on the quote, and pay the exporter. Larger orders are usually paid by letter of credit.
