Description

Sri Lanka grows most of the botanicals that go into the herbal teas sold on wellness shelves: Ceylon cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, moringa leaf, lemongrass, gotu kola and ranawara. Sri Lankan tea packers already blend and bag these alongside Ceylon tea, so a brand can buy a finished herbal blend from one origin instead of assembling it from several.

What we blend

  • Spice-led blends: cinnamon, ginger and turmeric, warm and caffeine free
  • Green botanical blends: moringa leaf, lemongrass and gotu kola
  • Evening and after-meal style blends built on cinnamon, ginger and lemongrass
  • Your own recipe, matched to a reference sample

Formats

Loose blends in bulk sacks or cartons, string-and-tag tea bags, pyramid bags, and retail cartons or pouches. Tell us the bag weight and count per pack.

Labeling

We describe ingredients and taste only. Function or health wording on the pack is set by the rules of your market, and you decide it with your own adviser.

Private label

Retail packs can carry your brand. Send us your artwork, pack size and labeling requirements for your market, and we confirm packing options, minimum order and lead time with the quote. You remain responsible for the label claims made in your market.

Packing and shipping

Orders are packed to your instruction and shipped by sea in a full or shared container, or by air for samples and small lots, quoted FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF to your port. Products from several Sri Lankan suppliers can share one container through our consolidation service.

How to get a price: tell us the quantity, your specification and your destination port. We quote FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF, with lead time and minimum order, and arrange samples before an order.

Which trade terms do you quote?

FOB Colombo; CFR; CIF. Freight is quoted per shipment for your quantity and destination.

Which documents come with the shipment?

Every export shipment carries a certificate of origin. Ask the desk which other certificates your country requires.

Can I check quality before a bulk order?

Yes. Start with a sample or trial lot. We can also arrange a pre-shipment inspection or an independent lab test for any order.

How do I pay safely?

First and trial orders of about USD 2,000 to 20,000 can be paid through Escrow.com, which releases the money only after you accept the goods. Larger orders are paid by letter of credit.
