Description

Orthodox Ceylon black tea in grades OP, OPA, OP1, Pekoe, BOP, BOPF, FBOP, FBOPF and Dust. Available in bulk or packed under your own label.

How the grades differ

Leaf grades such as OP, OPA and OP1 are long, wiry leaves that brew a lighter, slower cup. Pekoe is a shorter, curled leaf. Broken grades (BOP, FBOP) and fannings (BOPF, FBOPF) brew faster and darker, and suit tea bags and blends. Dust is the smallest particle and gives the quickest, strongest brew, mainly for tea bags.
