Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide reporting information.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies SriLankaExport.com uses, why, and how you can control them. SriLankaExport.com is operated by Harker International (Pvt) Ltd (Reg. No. PV 00338032), Kandy, Sri Lanka.

2. Categories We Use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function. You cannot opt out of these without breaking core features (login, cart, checkout, anti-CSRF protection).

Functional

Remember your preferences such as preferred language or low-data mode. Setting these to off rolls the site back to default behavior on every visit.

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4. Data is aggregated; we do not associate analytics events with your account.

Marketing

Currently not in use on SriLankaExport.com. We do not run retargeting, programmatic advertising, or third-party marketing pixels at this time. If we add them in future, this policy will be updated and the cookie consent banner will request your opt-in.

3. Cookie List

4. Third-Party Cookies

• Payment providers: no third-party payment cookies are set at present; a card gateway (HNB IPG) may set checkout cookies once it goes live.
• Cloudflare / QUIC.cloud CDN: sets short-lived cookies for security challenges and CDN routing.
• Google (GA4): analytics as above. Anonymise-IP is enabled.

5. How to Control Cookies

• On this site: visit कुकी प्राथमिकताएँ to toggle categories at any time.
• In your browser: most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies via settings. See your browser’s help for instructions.
• Browser-level “Do Not Track” signals are not relied on as a sole opt-out mechanism, but if your browser sends DNT we will not load Analytics cookies until you explicitly opt in.

6. Impact of Disabling Cookies

Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break login, cart, and checkout. Disabling functional cookies means your language and low-data preferences will not persist between visits. Disabling analytics has no functional impact but limits our ability to improve the site.

7. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when our cookie usage changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
