Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQs vary by product: typically 500 kg for spices and tea, with some lines from 100 kg, and trial lots of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and pepper from 10 kg. Samples start at $3 with no minimum. Check individual product pages or mention your quantity in the form above.
What export documents will I receive?
Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, Health Certificate, Commercial Invoice, Packing List. See our full export documents checklist.
How are exporters reviewed?
Vendors undergo our internal marketplace onboarding review. EDB registration or directory listing, where applicable, is vendor-reported and reviewed during onboarding (EDB registration is voluntary under EDB’s current policy; the previous mandatory scheme was revoked in 2019). We also review submitted business registration documents and vendor-submitted certificate copies (Organic, ISO, Halal, Fair Trade where applicable). This is an internal marketplace review. It is not government certification or EDB endorsement, and buyers should verify final documents with the issuing body before shipment.
How does shipping work?
Exporters ship FCL/LCL by sea or air freight. Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP) are negotiated directly with the exporter. Trade finance and freight forwarding assistance available.
