A curry kit puts the spices for one dish into pre-measured packs with a recipe card, so a home cook can make a Sri Lankan curry without buying a dozen whole spices. Kits sell in grocery, gift and online channels, and as subscription-box items.

What goes in

Sri Lankan curries use roasted and unroasted curry powders, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, pepper, turmeric, fenugreek and curry leaves. A kit usually holds two to four small packs and a card. Typical kits:

• Black chicken curry
• Dhal (red lentil) curry
• Fish ambul thiyal (sour fish curry, with goraka)
• Vegetable and jackfruit curries

Your recipes, your brand

Use our standard recipes or send your own. Card design, box and the number of kits per set are made to your artwork.

Private label

Retail packs can carry your brand. Send us your artwork, pack size and labelling requirements for your market, and we confirm packing options, minimum order and lead time with the quote. You remain responsible for the label claims made in your market.

Packing and shipping

Orders are packed to your instruction and shipped by sea in a full or shared container, or by air for samples and small lots, quoted FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF to your port. Products from several Sri Lankan suppliers can share one container through our consolidation service.
