Description
Coconut oil pressed from dried copra, supplied refined, bleached and deodorised (RBD) or as crude copra oil. RBD oil is neutral in taste and smell and is the grade food manufacturers, frying operations and cosmetic makers buy in volume. Each lot can be tested by an independent laboratory before shipment.
How to get a price: tell us the quantity, your specification and your destination port. We quote FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF, with lead time and minimum order, and arrange samples before an order.
RBD or crude
Crude copra oil is the raw pressed oil. It has a stronger smell and a darker colour, and it is usually bought by refiners or soap and oleochemical makers. RBD oil has been cleaned for direct use in food, frying and cosmetics. Coconut oil is solid below about 24 °C, so drums and flexitanks may need warming to unload in a cold climate.

Export documents are arranged with the shipment. Tell us which certificates your market or customer asks for, and we confirm what can be supplied with the quotation.

Samples are arranged before an order. Price, minimum order and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.

Which documents come with the shipment?
Every export shipment carries a certificate of origin. Ask the desk which other certificates your country requires. Testing: Independent lab test per lot available before shipment.
Can I check quality before a bulk order?
Yes. Start with a sample or trial lot. We can also arrange a pre-shipment inspection or an independent lab test for any order.
How do I pay safely?
First and trial orders of about USD 2,000 to 20,000 can be paid through Escrow.com, which releases the money only after you accept the goods. Larger orders are paid by letter of credit.
