Soap made with coconut oil lathers well, and Sri Lanka has plenty of it. Local makers produce herbal soaps using coconut oil with Sri Lankan botanicals and essential oils such as cinnamon, citronella, lemongrass, turmeric and sandalwood, as handmade bars and as milled bars from larger plants.

Soap is regulated as a cosmetic in many markets when it makes cosmetic claims, and essential oils must be declared as allergens in the EU and UK. We ask the maker for the full ingredient list and documents your market needs. We make no medical claims.

Private label

Retail packs can carry your brand. Send us your artwork, pack size and labelling requirements for your market, and we confirm packing options, minimum order and lead time with the quote. You remain responsible for the label claims made in your market.
