Our exporters made it. Put your label on it.

Products that already exist, already pass audit, and already have a technical data sheet you can send your QA team before you commit to anything.

White label or private label?

Buyers use these words interchangeably and they are not the same product. The difference decides your lead time, your minimum and your risk, so it is worth thirty seconds.

You are here

White label

An existing product, in a pack the exporter already runs, with your brand on it.

Development
None. The recipe and the pack already exist.
Minimum order
Set by the pack, so far lower.
Specification
Already written. Data sheet available up front.
Main risk
The product is what it is. You adapt to it, not the other way round.
The other lane

Private label / OEM

Made to your brief: your formulation, your pack, your claims.

Development
Formulation, pilot run, shelf-life study.
Minimum order
Higher, because a run has to justify the development.
Specification
Written during the project, fixed before production.
Main risk
Time and cost land before you have anything to sell.
Not sure which you want? Say so on the form. Telling you which one your budget and your date actually fit is a two-minute answer, and it is cheaper for both of us than starting the wrong one. Private label is already running in Ayurveda and herbal cosmetics, garments, and Ceylon tea.

How it runs

Four steps, and none of them is a development cycle.

1

Choose the product

From what our exporters already make. Each qualifying listing carries a downloadable data sheet, so you choose on the specification rather than on a photograph.

2

Send your artwork

We come back with what your destination market requires on the pack: net weight, origin, allergens, and which certification marks you may and may not use.

3

Confirm the run

You approve a label proof against the actual pack before anything is printed.

4

Production and shipping

Quoted FOB Colombo. Delivered terms are costed per lane rather than as a flat percentage.

Start where the spec sheets already exist

These are the categories with the most white-label-ready listings today. A category not shown here is not a no, it just means fewer options on the shelf.

Spices and herbs

Ceylon cinnamon in quills, chips and powder. Black pepper, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, whole or ground. Retail jars and pouches through to bulk.

Tea

Ceylon black, green and white tea, herbal blends. Loose leaf and teabag grades, in your own carton or caddy.

Herbal and wellness

Moringa, ashwagandha, gotu kola and other Ayurvedic botanicals, as dried leaf or powder, in retail packs or bulk.

Botanical extracts and tinctures

Quoted to brief, not off the shelf. Ashwagandha, gotu kola, tulsi, ginger, turmeric and Ceylon cinnamon as liquid extracts or tinctures under your own label, matched to a producer per enquiry rather than picked from a listing. We quote the extract form only where the ingredient has a GRAS notice, an accepted NDI notification, or documented US marketing before 15 October 1994, and we tell you which of the three applies before you commit.

Certificates are shown, not vouched for. Where an exporter has uploaded a certificate we show it with its review status. Uploaded is not verified, and the SLE-Verified Supplier badge is assessed separately and is never earned by uploading a document. If a claim has to hold up in your market, tell us and we will say plainly what we can and cannot stand behind.

What we need from you

Send what you have. Half a brief starts a useful conversation, and an empty field is a question we ask rather than a reason to wait.

Which productAnd the grade if you know it. A link to the listing is enough.
Pack size and formatRetail pouch, jar, bulk sack, food service.
How manyFor a first run. A range is fine.
Destination marketIt decides what the label must say.
Your artworkOr a note that you need help with it.
Certifications to claimAnd which scheme, if the market requires one.

Questions buyers actually ask

What is the minimum order?

It is set by the pack rather than by a development cycle, so it is far lower than a private label program. It still varies by product and by whether you want retail packs or bulk, so we quote it against your actual pack rather than publishing one number that would be wrong for most people.

Can I see the specification before I commit?

Yes, and you should. Qualifying products carry a downloadable technical data sheet on the listing itself, with shelf life, pack sizes and country of origin. Nothing is gated behind an enquiry.

Can I get a sample first?

Yes. The goods are free and the courier is at cost, credited against your first order. See how samples work.

Who owns the brand?

You do. White label means the product is the exporter’s and the brand is yours. We do not take a position in your label, your artwork or your market.

Can I change the recipe?

Then it is private label, not white label, and the timeline and minimum change with it. Say so on the form and we will scope it properly rather than quoting you the wrong lane.

Is it organic, or fair trade, or kosher?

Depends on the exporter and the specific lot. Tell us which claim you need to make and in which market, and we will tell you which producers can support it and what documentation comes with it.

How is it priced and shipped?

Quoted FOB Colombo by default. Delivered terms are available and costed per lane, because freight is a real number for a real route and marine insurance is a percentage of the insured value, never a flat uplift.
