Description

Baskets, storage boxes and trays woven by hand from palm leaf and other plant fibres.

What to include in your request

  • Item type, sizes and whether you need nesting sets
  • Natural or dyed, and colours
  • Quantity per design and packing
  • Destination port

How to get a price: tell us the quantity, your specification and your destination port. We quote FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF, with lead time and minimum order, and arrange samples before an order.

Uses and finishes

Woven palm leaf baskets are sold in homeware, gift and storage ranges. Nesting sets pack inside one another, which saves carton space and freight. Natural finishes show the colour of the dried leaf. Dyed pieces can be made in colours, stripes or patterns. Because each piece is hand woven, size and colour vary slightly from one item to the next, and this is normal for the product.

More to include

  • A photo, sketch or sample of the design you want
  • Inside and outside dimensions that matter to you
  • Handles, lids or liners, if needed
  • Retail labels, hang tags or barcodes
  • How items should be packed, for example nested or individually wrapped

Samples and documents

Samples let you check weave, colour and size before an order. Export documents are arranged with the shipment.
