The European Commission walks through ELAN, the new EU system for agri-food trade documents, which becomes mandatory for non-EU countries from 17 January 2028. It mainly concerns competent authorities and tariff rate quota and basmati documents today, but fruit, vegetable and cereal documents are planned later, so it is an early heads-up for Sri Lankan exporters and the agencies that certify them.
Who can join: Not restricted on the page; aimed at exporting-country competent authorities and agri-food operators supplying the EU. English and Spanish with interpretation.
