Sri Lanka’s handloom cotton tradition dates back over a century, centred in Kandy, Kegalle, and Kurunegala districts. Natural handloom cotton fabric is prized by apparel brands, interior designers, and home textile manufacturers seeking authentic, traceable textile sourcing with low environmental impact.
All fabric is woven on traditional floor looms or semi-automatic shuttle looms using ring-spun or open-end cotton yarn. Natural (undyed/greige) fabric is available for brands that apply their own dyeing and finishing, or pre-washed and ready-to-cut for direct cut-and-sew use.
