Ceylon batik is a recognised form of resist-dyeing with strong cultural identity and growing demand among fashion brands, homewares retailers, and lifestyle product manufacturers. Sri Lanka’s batik industry produces both hand-drawn (batik tulis) and screen-printed versions — the former for premium applications, the latter for brand-scale production runs.
All fabric is produced on 100% cotton base cloth unless specified otherwise. Custom design services are available with a design strike-off sample (first 3 m) before production approval.
