A blank coir doormat is a plain, unprinted entrance mat made from coconut husk fibre. Businesses that sell personalised doormats buy them blank and print their own designs, and retailers sell them plain as natural mats. Coir is stiff and hard-wearing, which is why it is the traditional material for a mat that scrapes dirt off shoes.

• Size and thickness of the mat.
• Backing: PVC-backed or unbacked.
• Printing: blank, or printed to your artwork with the colours you need.
• If you print them yourself: tell us your printing method, so the mat surface suits it.
• Quantity and packing: mats per carton, the number of cartons, and whether this is a trial or a repeat order.
• Destination port.

How ordering works

Send the specification through the quote button on this page. Our Trade Desk confirms the product, pack and quantity, arranges a sample if you want one, and sends a firm price by email, FOB Colombo or delivered to your port. Once you accept, we confirm the shipment date and the export documents.

You buy from Harker International (Pvt) Ltd, a registered Sri Lankan company that runs this marketplace. Payment is by SWIFT wire transfer to our bank in Sri Lanka, by card, or by letter of credit for established trade.

Price range is per square metre of mat. A standard doormat is about a third of a square metre.
