Measures the essential oil content of a spice sample. Priced per sample on request.

Measures the essential oil content of a spice sample.

Volatile oil is the main measure of aroma and strength, and many buyer specifications set a minimum.

Often used for: Cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, nutmeg.

#### How it works

- Tell us the product, the lot or supplier if you know it, and the destination market.

- We reply with the laboratory, the test method, the turnaround and the full cost. We say whether the test is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited at that lab.

- A sample is drawn from the lot and delivered to the lab.

- The laboratory issues its report in its own name, directly to you.

Priced per sample, not per kilo, so testing 100 grams costs the same as testing a container. Nothing is charged until you approve the quote. You can also name a laboratory yourself, including one in your own country.

#### What to send us

- The spice and its lot number
- The minimum in your specification, if you have one

Tell us if the result is for a buyer contract, so the report shows the method your buyer expects.
