Coconut sugar made from coconut blossom sap, in bulk for manufacturing or repacking. Conventional or certified organic, quoted to your spec.

Coconut sugar, also sold as coconut palm sugar, is made from the sap of the coconut palm’s flower buds. Tappers collect the sap, which is boiled until it thickens, then dried and ground into granules. It is brown, with a caramel flavour, and food makers use it in place of cane sugar in baking, drinks, cereals and snacks.

### How it is supplied

Coconut palms are tapped for sap across Sri Lanka’s coconut-growing districts, and Sri Lankan producers make coconut sugar for export alongside treacle and jaggery. We source from them and quote you one price, in bulk bags for manufacturing or repacking. For retail packs, see our [organic coconut sugar in 1 kg pouches](/product/organic-coconut-sugar-1kg/).

### What to specify

- Granulation: fine or regular.

- Moisture and colour: your limits, if you have them.

- Organic or conventional: we only call a lot organic when the producer’s certificate covers it, and we send the certificate with the quote.

- Lab tests: for example microbiology and heavy metals, reported by an independent lab.

- Packing and quantity: bag size, the number of bags or tonnes, and whether this is a trial or a repeat order.

A sample can be arranged before a first order.

### How ordering works

Send the specification through the quote button on this page. Our Trade Desk confirms the product, pack and quantity, arranges a sample if you want one, and sends a firm price by email, FOB Colombo or delivered to your port. Once you accept, we confirm the shipment date and the export documents.

You buy from Harker International (Pvt) Ltd, a registered Sri Lankan company that runs this marketplace. Payment is by SWIFT wire transfer to our bank in Sri Lanka, by card, or by letter of credit for established trade.
