Scope<\/h2>\r\n<p>This Acceptable Use Policy (&ldquo;AUP&rdquo;) governs how all visitors, Buyers, and Vendors may use SriLankaExport.com. It supplements our <a href=\"\/si\/terms-of-service\/\">\u0dc3\u0dda\u0dc0\u0dcf \u0db1\u0dd2\u0dba\u0db8\u0dba\u0db1\u0dca<\/a> and forms a binding part of your relationship with Harker International.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>2. Prohibited Conduct &mdash; All Users<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Illegality.<\/strong> Using the platform for any purpose that violates the laws of Sri Lanka, the destination country, your home country, or applicable international law.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Fraud and impersonation.<\/strong> Misrepresenting your identity, business, or capacity. Creating accounts using false identification.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Harassment.<\/strong> Threatening, abusive, or intimidating communications with other users or our team.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>IP infringement.<\/strong> Posting content that infringes copyright, trademarks, patents, or geographical indications (see <a href=\"\/si\/ip-infringement-policy\/\">IP Policy<\/a>).<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Counterfeit or misrepresented goods.<\/strong> Listing goods misrepresented as the products of another brand or as a different grade\/quality than supplied.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Money laundering or sanctions evasion.<\/strong> See our <a href=\"\/si\/aml-policy\/\">AML Policy<\/a> and <a href=\"\/si\/export-compliance\/\">Export Compliance Policy<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h2>3. Prohibited Technical Conduct<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Automated scraping<\/strong> of the catalogue, vendor pages, or product database without our written permission. The robots.txt directives apply; rate-limited human research is fine.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Bulk inquiry abuse.<\/strong> Sending the same inquiry to many Vendors with no genuine sourcing intent (a tactic used to harvest price data).<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Bypassing verification<\/strong> by creating multiple accounts, using disposable email, or falsifying business documents.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Security probing.<\/strong> Penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or any attempt to access non-public parts of the platform without our prior written authorisation.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Spam \/ unsolicited marketing<\/strong> using contact details obtained from Vendor or Buyer profiles.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Interference<\/strong> with the operation of the platform &mdash; denial-of-service, mass-mail floods, deliberate cart-stuffing.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h2>4. Prohibited Conduct &mdash; Vendors Specifically<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Fake reviews on your own store; coercing or incentivising reviews.<\/li>\r\n<li>Listing goods you do not produce or licence (drop-shipping of third-party products without disclosure).<\/li>\r\n<li>Mis-grading or mis-classifying goods to evade certification or customs scrutiny.<\/li>\r\n<li>Off-platform diversion of Buyers prior to order placement.<\/li>\r\n<li>Misrepresenting your EDB registration status or certification holdings.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h2>5. Prohibited Conduct &mdash; Buyers Specifically<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Submitting requests for samples with no purchase intent (&ldquo;sample milling&rdquo;).<\/li>\r\n<li>Coordinating fake disputes or chargebacks to extract refunds for delivered goods.<\/li>\r\n<li>Threatening negative reviews to extract pricing concessions.<\/li>\r\n<li>Re-export or onward sale that breaches the agreed end-use or destination.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h2>6. Reporting Violations<\/h2>\r\n<p>Substantiated reports are reviewed within 5 business days. We may take a range of actions including warning, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. We may also report criminal conduct to relevant authorities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>7. Appeals<\/h2>\r\n<p>If your account is suspended or content removed, you may appeal by replying to the action notice within 14 days, providing evidence to rebut the finding.
