Sri Lanka exported about US$302 million of women’s knit trousers, leggings and activewear bottoms in 2025, and its factories make activewear for major sportswear brands. They have the bonding, flatlock seaming and performance-fabric skills that activewear needs.

#### Fabric

Activewear fabric is usually nylon or polyester with elastane. Tell us the weight, stretch, opacity and handfeel you want, or send a reference garment. Recycled-yarn fabrics are available from some mills; ask for the certificates your market expects.

#### How made-to-order works

Sri Lankan garment factories make clothing for many well-known international brands, and they work to the buyer’s design. You send a tech pack, sketches or a reference garment; the factory develops a sample; you approve fit, fabric and finish; and the bulk order is made to the approved sample. Your labels, tags and packing are applied in the factory.

Minimum order per style and colour depends on the factory and the fabric. Larger factories work in thousands of pieces; mid-size factories take smaller runs. We match your order size to a factory that fits it, and confirm minimum, sample cost, lead time and price with the quote.
