Light, crunchy freeze-dried tropical fruit from Sri Lanka, in slices, pieces or powder.

Freeze-drying removes water from frozen fruit under vacuum, so the fruit keeps its shape, colour and much of its flavour and turns light and crunchy. It costs more than ordinary drying, and freeze-dried fruit sells at a premium in snacks, cereals and baking.
