Description
Key attributes
High-hardness, high-activity coconut-shell granular activated carbon engineered for gold recovery: carbon-in-pulp (CIP), carbon-in-leach (CIL), and carbon-in-column (CIC) circuits. Optimised abrasion resistance, apparent density, and gold-loading kinetics to minimise attrition losses and maximise recovery in the mining industry.
Hardness, activity (CTC / iodine), and platelet/abrasion specifications provided per lot.
Trade terms: FOB Colombo or CIF to your destination port. Lead time and MOQ confirmed per order. Samples available on request. Pricing shown is indicative. Request a binding quote via the SriLankaExport Trade Desk.
What matters in gold-recovery carbon
In a CIP or CIL plant, carbon moves through tanks of slurry and is pumped, screened and stripped many times. Soft carbon breaks into fines that carry gold out with the tailings. That is why hardness and abrasion resistance matter as much as activity. Coconut-shell carbon is naturally hard, which is why most gold plants use it.
What to tell us for a quote
- Mesh size, for example 6×12 or 8×16
- Minimum hardness and activity your circuit needs
- Circuit type: CIP, CIL or CIC
- Bag type and size, and quantity per shipment
- Destination port
Samples and testing
Samples are sent before an order so your lab can run its own tests. Each lot can be tested by an independent laboratory before shipment. Price and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.
