#### Leaf oil or bark oil

Leaf oil is distilled from the leaves and is rich in eugenol, the same compound that gives clove its warm, spicy note. It costs less than bark oil and is used in soaps, candles, room sprays, oral care and flavour blends. Bark oil is rich in cinnamaldehyde and is used where a sweet cinnamon flavour is needed.
