Description
Key attributes
Small, even particles that brew quickly to a strong, coloury cup. This is the grade most blenders reach for in teabags and in tea sold to be taken with milk. High grown and low grown both available; packed 50 to 55 kg net per bag.
How to buy: order a 60 g sample online to judge the grade in your own hands. For bulk, request a quote with your grade, quantity and destination; we confirm a firm price, packing, lead time and validity in writing.
What BOPF means
Ceylon tea is graded by particle size, not by quality alone. BOPF is one step smaller than BOP and larger than dust grades. High-grown BOPF gives a bright, brisk cup. Low-grown BOPF is darker and stronger, and holds up well with milk.
