Description
Key attributes
Whole Ceylon black pepper (Piper nigrum), supplied in 1 kg transparent packs for food service, repacking and retail. Sri Lankan pepper is grown largely as an intercrop in smallholder gardens rather than on estates, and is bought for its heat and its sharper, more citrus-leaning aroma.
Supplied whole rather than ground, because pepper loses volatile aroma quickly once broken.
