Sri Lanka exported about US$349 million of men’s woven trousers and shorts in 2025. Its bottoms factories cut and sew chinos, casual trousers and shorts for brands and retailers in the United States and Europe.

#### Washes and finishes

Garment dyeing, enzyme washes and finishes such as stain or crease resistance change the look and the cost. Tell us the finish you want and it is matched on the sample.

#### How made-to-order works

Sri Lankan garment factories make clothing for many well-known international brands, and they work to the buyer’s design. You send a tech pack, sketches or a reference garment; the factory develops a sample; you approve fit, fabric and finish; and the bulk order is made to the approved sample. Your labels, tags and packing are applied in the factory.

Minimum order per style and colour depends on the factory and the fabric. Larger factories work in thousands of pieces; mid-size factories take smaller runs. We match your order size to a factory that fits it, and confirm minimum, sample cost, lead time and price with the quote.
