We supply low-fat desiccated coconut in bulk: desiccated coconut made from kernel that has had part of its oil pressed out before drying. Food manufacturers use it where full-fat coconut would add too much fat or turn rancid too quickly, in bakery fillings, confectionery, breakfast cereals, snack coatings and dry mixes.
What we supply
Our low-fat desiccated coconut comes from Sri Lankan mills registered with the Coconut Development Authority (CDA), and every shipment is cleared by the CDA before it leaves Colombo. We supply it in fine or medium granulation, pressed to the fat level you set.
What to tell us
- Fat content: the target fat percentage. It sets the price.
- Granulation: fine or medium.
- Moisture and microbiology: your limits, and whether you need a lab report per lot.
- Packing and quantity: bag size, tonnes, and whether this is a trial or a repeat order.
Price
The indicative range on this page is based on Sri Lanka’s 2025 customs export average for desiccated coconut. It covers all desiccated coconut grades, so our firm quote for low-fat product can sit above or below it. We confirm a firm FOB Colombo or CIF price against your specification.
Who you buy from
You buy from Harker Trade Co., the trading line of Harker International (Private) Limited, a registered Sri Lankan company (Reg. No. PV 00338032, Kandy). We buy from Sri Lankan growers and processors, agree the specification with you, and sell it to you under one contract and one invoice, with the export documents in our name.
How ordering works
Send your specification with the quote button on this page. Our Trade Desk confirms the grade, pack and quantity, sends a sample if you want one, and quotes a firm price by email, FOB Colombo or delivered to your port. Payment is by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at checkout, by SWIFT wire transfer to our bank in Sri Lanka, or by letter of credit for established trade.
