Ceylon Silver Tips white tea: unopened leaf buds with a very light, sweet liquor, among Sri Lanka's highest-value grades.

Unopened leaf buds, withered and dried with almost no further processing, which is what leaves them pale and silvery. Very light, sweet liquor. Among the highest-value grades Sri Lanka produces and priced accordingly.

#### Using Silver Tips

Silver Tips are a white tea style. Brew below boiling, around 80 to 85 C, for three to five minutes. The buds are light and bulky, so a given weight takes more space than black tea, and gentle packing keeps them whole. They are sold loose in tins, in small gift packs, and as a blend component to add bud appearance.
