Semi-husked coconuts are mature coconuts with most of the outer husk removed and a tuft left at the eye end, which protects the nut and shows that it is fresh. Removing the husk cuts the weight and volume, so far more nuts fit in a container. Grocers, food service and coconut processors in the Middle East, Europe and Asia buy them for grating, coconut milk and cooking.

Fresh coconuts are shipped in ventilated or refrigerated containers, with a phytosanitary certificate. Transit time and storage matter, so tell us your port and how quickly the nuts are sold. Desiccated coconut, coconut milk and virgin coconut oil can travel in the same shipment if you need them.
