主な特徴
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus, sera in Sinhala) grows in home gardens and smallholdings across Sri Lanka and is used fresh in Sri Lankan cooking. The dried, cut leaf is brewed as a tea on its own and is a common ingredient in herbal blends. In Mexican and Central American homes it is known as té de limón.
Why Sri Lankan, and when it makes sense. Larger origins such as Vietnam sell dried lemongrass for less. Sri Lankan lemongrass suits buyers who want a single-origin ingredient, a smaller lot than the big origins will ship, or Sri Lankan lemongrass in a container with other Sri Lankan products, which our consolidation service can arrange.

Lots are packed to your instruction, usually in food-grade inner liners inside woven polypropylene sacks or cartons, and labelled with the lot number that matches the laboratory certificate. Trial and sample lots ship by express courier; larger orders by air or sea freight, quoted FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF to your port. Products from several Sri Lankan suppliers can share one container through our consolidation service.

Which trade terms do you quote?
FOB Colombo; CFR; CIF; courier for small lots. Freight is quoted per shipment for your quantity and destination.
Which documents come with the shipment?
Every export shipment carries a certificate of origin. Ask the desk which other certificates your country requires. Testing: Independent lab testing per lot available (moisture, microbiology, heavy metals, pesticide residues).
Can I check quality before a bulk order?
Yes. Start with a sample or trial lot. We can also arrange a pre-shipment inspection or an independent lab test for any order.
How do I pay safely?
First and trial orders of about USD 2,000 to 20,000 can be paid through Escrow.com, which releases the money only after you accept the goods. Larger orders are paid by letter of credit.
