SriLankaExport.com is an independent private B2B marketplace owned and operated by Harker International (Pvt) Ltd (Registration No. PV 00338032), based in Kandy, Sri Lanka. The platform connects international buyers with Sri Lankan exporters whose business documents have been reviewed by our marketplace team during onboarding.

### 2. No government affiliation

SriLankaExport.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, partnered with, or operated by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), Sri Lanka Business Portal, the Government of Sri Lanka, any Ministry, or any government authority. References on this site to EDB, Sri Lanka Customs, the Sri Lanka Tea Board, the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI), Chambers of Commerce, the Department of Commerce, or any other authority are for informational, marketplace verification, or document-reference purposes only.

All official marks, logos, names, licenses, certificates, and documents remain the property of their respective owners. Use of those marks or names in informational context on this site does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or any other relationship with the respective authority.

### 3. EDB registration is voluntary

The previous mandatory Registration of Exporters scheme was revoked by Gazette No. 2118/60 dated April 11, 2019. EDB now maintains a voluntary registration / directory listing system [[EDB source](https://www.srilankabusiness.com/exporters/register-with-edb/)]. Where this site refers to a vendor’s EDB registration or EDB directory listing, we mean only the vendor’s own voluntary EDB registration or listing, where applicable. Such registration or listing is not issued, controlled, or endorsed by SriLankaExport.com, and the existence (or absence) of an EDB listing does not constitute EDB endorsement of this platform, the vendor, or the vendor’s products.

### 4. What our verification means

Verification performed by SriLankaExport.com is an internal marketplace review of vendor-submitted information conducted by our team during onboarding. It does not replace government registration, customs clearance, legal advice, certification-body verification, importer due diligence, or buyer due diligence.
