Whole dried blue and white water lily flowers, sold strictly for potpourri, decor and botanical display. Not for consumption. Species stated on every invoice.

These are whole water lily flowers, picked and dried in Sri Lanka, sold for potpourri, dried-flower decor and botanical display. They are not sold for consumption: not as a food, tea, supplement or for smoking, and we do not quote for those uses.

In Sri Lanka water lilies are offered every day at Buddhist temples, and the blue water lily (nil manel) is widely grown in village tanks and ponds. The white flowers come from the same habitats.

#### Which species you receive

The common names are used loosely. Sri Lanka's native water lily is Nymphaea nouchali, while much of the blue flower sold as "blue lotus" worldwide is Nymphaea caerulea, and sources disagree on how the two relate. We do not guess: the botanical name of the lot we ship is taken from the supplier's documents and printed on the proforma and the commercial invoice.

#### What to include in your request

- Blue, white or both, and the quantity of each
- Whole flowers only, or whether broken petals are acceptable
- Moisture or colour requirements
- Any lab parameters you need on the certificate
- Your destination and how you plan to import

#### Compliance

- Sold for decorative use only. We ask buyers to confirm the intended use in writing before we invoice.
- We do not ship to Louisiana, where the state restricts Nymphaea caerulea.
- The buyer is the importer of record and is responsible for the rules in their own country.

Small lots ship by express courier; larger lots by air or sea freight, FOB Colombo or delivered.

#### Packing and shipping

Lots are packed to your instruction, usually in food-grade inner liners inside woven polypropylene sacks or cartons, and labelled with the lot number that matches the laboratory certificate. Trial and sample lots ship by express courier; larger orders by air or sea freight, quoted FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF to your port. Products from several Sri Lankan suppliers can share one container through our consolidation service.
