Glazed ceramic and porcelain tiles for floors and walls, made in Sri Lanka from local clays.

Sri Lanka has an established tile industry that uses local clays, kaolin and feldspar, and supplies both the home market and exports. Sri Lankan building materials, including ceramic tiles, exported about US$9 million in 2025, mostly to the Maldives and the region.
