## Container Mix Planner: several Sri Lankan products in one container

Add the products and quantities you want. See how much of a 20 ft, 40 ft or 40 ft high cube container they fill, by volume and by weight, and which size fits. Then get one quote for the whole load: we source each product, check every lot in Colombo and ship it as one container on one invoice.

### How the planner works

Each product uses a typical packed density for its usual export packing (bags, bales, cartons or drums). A container is full when it runs out of space or reaches its weight limit, whichever comes first: light, bulky goods such as cinnamon quills, tea and gloves fill the space first, while dense goods such as rice, natural rubber and coconut oil hit the weight limit first. Mixing the two is often the most efficient load.

- 20 ft: about 28 m³ usable, about 21 t payload

- 40 ft: about 58 m³ usable, about 26.5 t payload

- 40 ft high cube: about 68 m³ usable, about 26.5 t payload

- Under about 10 m³: usually cheaper as LCL (a shared container)

These are planning estimates. Road weight limits in your country, pallets and the exact packing change the result, so our forwarder confirms the load plan with your quote.
